Superdry Products Review
This week I'm bringing you a review on some Superdry makeup products I was given from a friend. I have been testing them out for a week or two to let you guys know whether they're worth it. The gift set came with a mascara, an eyeliner, a cream blush stick and a chubby stick for your lips. Here goes:

Mascara

Before I tried this out, I thought that I would be really disappointed with it as I tend to favour Benefit mascaras and am rarely surprised by a mascara since I've tried Benefit's They're Real and Rollerlash. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this. I don't think it helps at all with curl in your lashes and may not be ideal if you have straight or downward-facing lashes. But this mascara adds a lot of length and a fair amount of volume so this really impressed me. I highly recommend this mascara if you like the natural look and perhaps if you have fair lashes as it is quite an intense black colour and gives good definition to the lashes. The packaging on the mascara is unusual, it reminds me of the eyeko mascara packing and I feel like it may travel better as it takes up less space in your makeup bag if you've not got much room.

Eyeliner

To be frank, I was not at all impressed by this eyeliner. The eyeliner itself is really hard so is not easy or comfortable as such to apply, however, if you're looking for the smokey look, it smokes out well with the smudger on the other end of it. I feel like they're are a lot of great drugstore eyeliners out there; I know Maybeline do a great one. So if you're looking for an eyeliner, I would not suggest this one. The colour payoff isn't great unfortunately even though it has decent pigmentation and this is mainly because the lead is not soft enough.

Blush
Off the bat, I absolutely love this blusher. It's so highlighty and glowy while adding a nice flush to your cheeks. I have a feeling this will be my go-to cream blush over summer because I find cream blushes a bit nicer for summer as they last longer on the skin in heat. I find I don't need to add a highlighter once I've used the blush because it does have that glowy, dewy effect that I aim for with a highlight. I think this is great for a minimal look but it's totally buildable. I feel you can pair this blusher with some tinted moisturiser or over a full face of makeup; it's a very versatile product and I highly recommend it.

Chubby Lipstick

This nude chubby lipgloss stick is a great idea. I love the Soap and Glory ones, the Clinque ones, the list goes on. I think it's hard to go wrong with these and think Superdry have done a good job. It's not my favourite out of the chubby sticks I own - I think that's because I don't tend to reach for pink gloss in the same way - but I like the way it dresses up a look and makes you look a little more put together even when you've only chucked on a little bit of concealer or mascara. I think Superdry did a decent job on this one and think the colour will be flattering on a variety of skin tones.

Overall, I think Superdry did well as the only product I certainly would not recommend is the eyeliner (I am yet to try the matchstick trick to soften it up). I definitely think the blush is my favourite out of all their products and I would 100% repurchase it out of them all. I think as a gift this is definitely a good shout and I would be (and have been) happy to receive it.

Love,
Kay xo
